Hello and welcome...

I was born and raised in Suwannee County in North Central Florida. After graduating from nursing school in 1999, my husband, Mark, and I  shortly thereafter moved to Dothan, Alabama. Dothan has now been our home for the past 25 years where we have raised a family with our three wonderful children, and established loving and fulfilling connections within the community, both personally and professionally.

Just after moving to Dothan, I began my nursing career at Flowers Hospital in the Cardiac Care unit. It was here that I truly gained foundational nursing experience which proved to be invaluable in the evolution of my nursing career. In 2014, I then joined the team at the Breast Health Center as a Patient Care Navigator. At the BHC, I found a passion for assisting women in breast health and breast cancer journeys, with an emphasis on patient education, prevention and wellness. The 9+ years spent at the BHC was an amazing and rewarding time in my career that inspired me to further my education and pursue a masters degree as a nurse practitioner. Naturally, as the mother of two children who have graduated from Auburn University, and a third who will be attending this Fall, this was a natural course and the most perfect fit in programs. I am proud to say that I am now also a graduate of the Auburn University College of Nursing with a Master of Science degree as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I have subsequently and successfully obtained certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. I am now eager to embark and further my career in a setting where I hope to provide holistic, patient-centered care and where I may continue to establish rapport with a wonderful patient base and provide excellent patient care for years to come.
